Amazon will invest $5 billion in Thailand's cloud infrastructure

The cloud computing arm of Amazon.com Inc., AWS announced on Monday that it will spend $5 billion in Thailand over the next 15 years to improve its infrastructure.

According to a statement from AWS, the money would go toward building data centres as well as purchasing goods and services from local companies

In order to better service consumers in the area and set up an infrastructure hub in Bangkok, Thailand, the company also plans to do so

More than 200 services, including storage, robotics, and artificial intelligence, are available on the AWS cloud platform
